Hanukkah started on Tuesday, another festival of light at this gloomy time of year.  Hanukat can tell you more!  Here's an only very slightly tenuous link, Hanukkah is a Jewish festival, and if you want to make a toy synagogue for some dolls, there are some great instructions here.  I love it.  The same site also has a really good tutorial for making a doll's house, in case like me you never had one...
