Hello! Anyone still reading? I am now in the third trimester, the joys of heartburn, indigestion and general aches and pains are kicking in, but as you can see, I do now have a bump. Yes, it is quite neat but that's what weeks and weeks of throwing up does to you! We had a growth scan last week because I was measuring a bit small at my 28 week appointment. Measuring your bump with a tape measure is notoriously unreliable (but great that they do send you for checks if in any doubt) and Bagl is the right size for dates etc. We'll have another one at 36 weeks to double check though. I had been led to believe that we wouldn't see much at the scan as he would be quite squashed up but we got a really good look at his face and saw him waving (I hope!) a finger. His spine looked amazing too!
Still knitting stuff, but mainly concentrating on a traditional blanket with lots of colourwork so it's taking a while. The mums are both knitting lots too, which is lovely to see.
Hope you are all well!

Glad to hear all is well. You look marvelous! Have you been watching Call the Midwife? If so I'm sure you'll rest assured.

Thank you! I am avoiding birth programmes at the moment, reading lots about it but not really wanting to watch it!

Great to see a post from you! I'd been wondering how you were doing. I'm with you on not watching too many t.v. births. However things play out for you and the baby, it will never correspond to any of the scenarios you might have seen! Enjoy these last few weeks and do take any chance you can to rest and take it easy. xox

Exactly! I have watched One Born Every Minute before I was pregnant and it was very interesting but am trying to concentrate on being positive for this birth, even if it takes forever and ends in an emergency section or something, think it's good not to dwell too much on the negatives.

Thank you! Not sure I'm going to make it over before the birth as I'm getting pretty uncomfortable already but once we're a bit more settled I'll definitely be back!

Hope everything is going well - my bump was nearly the same size as your at 28 weeks but ten weeks later came a 4 kilo boy. Good thing not watching birthing programmes, those can be scary as normal births isn't always interesting enough for the Tv producers.
By the way thank you for having my blog in your blog roll - it's an honour. Have a nice weekend.
