Well, it was Christmas Eve in the workhouse, and the snow was falling fast...
Actually it's quite mild down here in Ilkley, went into town to photocopy some knitting patterns and get some wine and bread (I'm setting up my own church, nah, not really, fondue stuff). Someone was blasting out Christmas songs in the carpark and tacky as it sounds, it worked quite well as people bought last minute trees, holly and chocolate.
OK, three links today. The first is a list of gift tags you can download, courtesy of Lifehacker.
The second is Make-A-Flake, via Ysolda. You can then go and look at Jack Cheng's blog to find out how to use Make-A-Flake to make your own wrapping paper. See - you don't need to go to the shops after all! Via Make Blog.
Feels a bit strange down here this year, on one hand it's lovely to be home and surrounded by my family and our own traditions, but on the other, I can't wait to go back up to Edinburgh on Wednesday to be with Mr Nagl again. We'll have to come up with a better system next year, goodness knows what, with four sets of parents and six siblings between us, maybe we'll just hide.
Pimp My Nutcracker (it's ok, it's safe!).

Spraypaint anything into a decoration.
Off down south to Yorkshire in a while to spend a few days with my lovely mummy and family. Mr Nagl has done likewise except in The Shire. Then we'll have our own festive celebrations.

Mr Nagl and I are about to go off to Glasgow to see Cinderella. Magical!
Just when this was in danger of getting too tasteful or twee, I've come across a lovely website, all about making decorations out of tampons. Via Boing Boing.
